A close-up view of Mount Everest is always a scene that stays with you. Everything was amazing, including the views of Ama Dablam up close in Tengboche and the vistas of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Tawache from Namche. The atmosphere was lifted and the trek was made more pleasurable by the friendly trail users and the difficult terrain. We are grateful to Everest Base Camp Travels for arranging this amazing trip. 

On Everest Base Camp Travel's EBC Luxury Trek, crossing something off the bucket list wasn't the only goal. They gave me a deep immersion into the Himalayan culture. I got an insight into the life of people who live in these mountains through visits to historic monasteries, conversations with amiable Sherpas, and nights spent sipping yak butter tea in local houses. The journey took on a greater significance as it was weaved together with beautiful scenery and endearing human ties, creating a tapestry.

This hike was all about belly-laughing! Imagine me, a city girl who didn't know a yak from a yakitori, having tea and lamps made of yak butter with a group of witty Sherpas. The wind would whistle through prayer flags as we yodeled our way up perilous passes. 

Every meeting with a yak was a comedy of errors, with their puzzled looks reflecting my own as I struggled with the trekking poles. The morning view from Gokyo Ri? Unadulterated, pure magic. Shiv, my travel guide to Everest Base Camp, became my laughing therapist and yak whisperer. This was more than simply a trek it was a funny parody of life's absurdities performed on the biggest stage in the world. Thank you Everest Base Camp Travel.

My solo trip to Gokyo Valley with EBC Trek through Everest Base Camp Travel was life-changing. I was nervous about going it alone, but the guides instantly made me feel like part of the family. The trek was challenging, but the sense of camaraderie and the awe-inspiring beauty of the Khumbu kept me going. Reaching Gokyo felt like summiting my own personal Everest. The major highlight of my tour was the landing at Kala Patthar which allowed me to see Mount Everest and other tall Himalayas surrounding me. It was a surreal experience and the aerial views were exquisite. I can not thank Everest Base Camp Travel enough for arranging this majestic experience for me.
