I have to admit that Binod knows how to pamper people, even in the most isolated areas of the world. A magnificent overnight stay at the Everest View Hotel, nestled on a mountain ridge, was part of my Heli trip. The feeling of sipping champagne and looking out at the snow-capped peaks was almost dreamlike.

With prayer flags and Sherpa pictures, the sun-filled dining area seemed like a window into another planet. I relished every bite, my senses delighting in the fine cuisine and the broad views. I went alone on the Everest View Trek in search of reflection and seclusion. Using my trekking poles, I followed Tenzing Norgay's ascent, feeling the weight of Sir Edmund Hillary's legacy with each labored breath. 

The guides of Everest Base Camp Travel descended from the fabled Sherpas and recounted tales of bravery and selflessness, their grizzled features serving as living symbols of the mountain's might. Reaching base camp wasn't the only goal of this journey; it was also about being humbled on the shoulders of giants and leaving a lasting legacy of their victories. The short trek to EBC was just what I needed to get away from my everyday hectic life back in India. I went on this trek with my husband, my friends, and their husbands. It was a very impromptu plan and when I first contacted Everest Base Camp Travel I was not expecting anything much.

Me and my husband recently visited Everest Base Camp and it was an experience of a lifetime. These 11 days felt like pure heaven. As a foodie, I was very excited to try out the authentic Nepali cuisines. The local cuisine tasted so much better than I ever imagined it would taste. My favorite was the momos that I ate during the acclimatization day in Namche. All thanks to Everest Base Camp Travel for this wonderful package. 

My experience was very unique and filled with unattainable love toward all the floras and faunas. Beyond the breathtaking scenery, the trek caught me off guard with unanticipated animal encounters. My guide imparted their expertise on the fauna of the area, from sightings of mountain goats to rare Himalayan birds. The walk demonstrated not just the majesty of the mountains but also the varied animals and fragile ecosystems that live in the Himalayas.
